Sunset Sangria

Ruffles are one of my favorite design elements, and I felt this was the perfect opportunity to showcase that. The construction involved a lot of gathering, but the process was really fun and rewarding, especially seeing the volume build as the piece came together. I was drawn to the fabric’s sheen and how it catches the light with movement, giving the set a more elevated feel. Even though the look is monochromatic, the brightness of the fabric keeps it bold and eye-catching. The ruffles, combined with the sequin trim on the skirt, add texture and dimension that bring the whole design to life. Overall, I wanted this piece to feel playful, and expressive.
